Watch for the Rise and Shine show on TV!!!

It was cool having Evan from American Gladiators on the show Tuesday.

While he was here, the show brought a camera crew and they were all taping our every move. We didn't want to mention a lot about that part of it on the air...there's just something about repeatedly saying, "Hey, we're going to be on TV" that doesn't sit well with us. Even if we ARE excited about it...it's not really anything WE'RE doing that's all that interesting, and we didn't want to make it sound like it was, if that makes any sense.

They're filming kind of a "backstory" on Evan, since he's from here in Chicago. Right after he left our show, he went downtown to be on Mancow's show. But you know...I listened to the podcast of that afterwards, and I am pretty sure he did a better job on our show. It was more interesting, less stupid stuff...and he seemed like he could be himself a little more. Don't get me wrong, I like the Mancow show (much of it, anyway), but I think we got a clearer picture of Evan on our show yesterday.

ANYWAY...there will be a two-hour FINALS broadcast of American Gladiators on NBC Sunday night, February 17th....I believe it's at 7:00 p.m. (so maybe watch this and TiVo Extreme Makeover Home Edition);) Hopefully our signing of those release forms will result in seeing the smiling faces of the Shine.FM Rise and Shine crew on the show.
